Deepa is lovely and the venue is nice so I feel terrible leaving a bad review, but the wax itself was awful. Each time she waxed she didn’t hold the skin taut so it would pull and was really painful. Half of the hairs weren’t pulled out fully and I’ve been left with horrible irritation and the skin is still really tender to the touch 3 days later. I haven’t had a wax in a few years so at first I put it down to that but 3 days later it’s still extremely sensitive and it looks like I have horrible razor burn which has never happened before. I’m not sure if it’s what is used to wax (I’ve only had strips before, not hot wax) but I won’t be going back.
