I booked a bouncy blow dry for long hair and upon arriving at the salon I showed the hairdresser a picture of what I was looking for. I was told that due to my hair length and volume, a bouncy blow dry was not possible and that the hair dresser can curl the ends. This is not what I had booked or was looking for having done. I explained to the hairdresser that I always get blow dries done and as long as the right products are used and the hair is blow dried correctly, it has always stayed for 2-3 days (let alone for the length of the event). She agreed and washed my hair and carried on with the bloow dry. The end result was below satisfaction - there was no lift at the roots (even though I've always had this) and the ends were only very minimally bouncy. I had the blow dry done at 4pm and by about 7pm the hair was flat at the roots and ends were barely wavey. After having paid £20 I expected the result to last at least for the length of the event 6pm - 11pm but this was not the case! I think that it should be advertised that the hairdresser does not have the skill for a big bouncy blow dry and rather a simple blow dry with curled ends using a tong so that customers can book and pay accordingly rather than falsely advertised.
