Nice salon, very good men’s scissor cut

I don't typically talk too much, but this lady was awkwardly quiet. I showed her what I wanted, picture and explanations, she did it for the most part, but she cut off too much hair and told me matter-of-factly I'd come back for shorter (how do you know if you don't even talk to me?). Didn't ask for which parting, showed me one length but I got another. Hair was flat after the blow dry, with some texture that flattened by the time I got home. Fringe was in my face with no structure. Not happy.

Very quick and easy efficient haircut, done within 15 mins before blow drying. Unfortunately despite me specifically asking for some layering to avoid the dreaded triangle head, I got a single length cut. I do trust stylists who advise a different approach if they explain it, but there was no discussion and I only realised after air-drying at home.
