Blow dry was good but stylist left for 10 minutes, without explanation, to do someone's entire manicure. I paid £35 for just a blow dry and so didn't expect I would be sharing the appointment with someone else. She also headed away at various times to discuss appointments with a colleague or other clients which meant the whole process was stop-start. That meant I was there for at least 20 minutes longer than I had planned to be. There were old towels drying on a clothes rack right by the basins and just a sense of a bit of disarray - nothing terrible but it didn't have the vibe of somewhere you'd pay £35 (and btw, no magazines, offer of coffee etc although this didn't bother me). The truth is there are more sleek salons about ten minutes away that, even though they charge a bit more, at least make it feel like a bit of a treat. I will say, though, that the blow dry was decent and I can see some very good reviews for manicures on here. I just think one appointment slot should be used for one person - not an opportunity to book two or more.

I've been going to Modern Touch for my nails for ages. I decided to change salons and tried Stratford Hair & Nails for the first time for SNS. I'm reaaaallly particular about the shape so was hoping the technician would listen to my requests. End result! absolutely perfect. way better than Modern Touch and I'm so glad I took the risk of trying somewhere new. I would 100% recommend. I'll be back religiously now.
