Great Value and Great staff.
I got balayage done with Chelsea and she was so lovely, she understood exactly what I wanted and completed it beautifully. She described exactly what best to do for aftercare as well. I recommend for anyone else looking this service to bring pictures of what they like to help the stylist :)
Was very good!
Booked a “Bleach&toner” treatment online but was given a different price for the same treatment when I was in the salon. Disappointed, so I was ready to leave but the the manager permitted the booking price.Later when it came to paying , I was charged an extra £25 for a toner because I had grey roots???? Very unhappy with the extra charge because I wasn’t told about it until the very end. It is a shame because apart from this, the salon is very clean and stylish and the staff were lovely. Won’t be returning I’m afraid.
The salon was a little difficult to find, but once inside it was very pleasant, smartly decorated and friendly. The treatment room was very clean and had a nice ambience about it. The lady who did my massage was very nice, but did not really explain anything about the treatment, which would have been good. The massage itself was very different from any other aromatherapy massage I have previously had. I was not asked what oils I would prefer, or how I wanted to feel afterwards, or if there were particular areas I wanted to be worked upon. There was also very little evidence of any aromatic smells, so very subtle, but background music very relaxing. The lady did not speak at all ( which was fine) and the massage itself was very relaxing, although not as enjoyable as I expected. There was a lot of time spent on the back of my lower legs, which felt strange and I did really not understand why? I asked if there was a lot of tension there afterwards, but she told me that it was all in my back and neck. The Indian head massage was again very relaxing in a way, but did not feel particularly enjoyable at the time, just very systematic and 'matter of fact.' (if that makes sense?) Overall, the whole experience certainly helped me to relax, which I really needed on that day, but I would not say that it was the most enjoyable massage that I had ever had.
