Although I am getting the haircut I want and I need most of the time, I was a bit disappointed in this appointment.I was expecting another staff member who knows my style and I did not have the haircut I wanted.

First time getting a wax with this place, the woman was lovely and welcoming, giving a packet of wipes to clean yourself first and then immediately started when I was ready. I wasn’t expecting the pain I experienced, the wax was very hot and was applied in large sections and then ripped off with one large wax sheet. I’ve never bruised as bad as I did after this, I’ve been left with a deep purple bruise that is still sore 3 days later along with red irritated spots. The wax was left clean and I was happy with the hair removal, just not how it was done. I’ve been waxed many times before and it was never this rushed or painful. After she left me to rub my own oil on from a bottle. I’m not completely sure how hygienic it was but the woman was wearing gloves which I liked. I wouldn’t go back for a Hollywood wax but wouldn’t be put off this place completely. The price was standard so not complaining about it.

It was incredibly quick and fairly painless. They were also incredibly patient when I was a few minutes late due to traffic. Would definitely use them again.
