I waited for around 30 minutes (I had an appointment booked) but this wasn't my main issue because I understand that these things happen. What really annoyed me was that the hairdresser kept calling me "my darling" without ever asking me if that's OK. It felt sexist and I doubt he would use it to somebody he perceived as male, which also makes it also transphobic. I choose to have my haircut there because I expect to not face this behaviour in Soho.
