I went to Soho to visit a magazine shop and saw this on the way, First i didn't even know they did massages (thought they did only haircuts) but anyway, I booked a massage session.
When I went for my massage, the place was overcrowded and pretty busy and I could feel noises when I was trying to relax and have a nice massage. the Masseuse was good but as I previously mentioned the too much noise made it pretty unpleasant,
Its not a bad place, they just need to take care of their timings and over crowding. Also their window display was aweful, they had many things to offer but like I said before - I thought they were hairdressers only.
Hairdresser is located at the top and all treatments are held downstairs in the basement. You have the choice of hot or strip, I chose hot. She was thorough and wasn't too painful.
Voucher was sold as a 1 hour manicure but was completed in 30 mins. She didn't paint the full nail - sides of my nails, parts of cuticle were still left and wasn't removed before applying shellac leaving a bumpy surface, she didn't finsih off by applying shellac to the tip of the nail to seal it in.
This is a busy salon in the heart of Soho, and was absolutely heaving with customers when I arrived - a good sign, I guess! It's more functional than elegant, and not the place for a relaxing pampering session, but the therapy rooms are more than adequate, if not well sound-proofed, and the therapist (Daria?), was superb - knowledgeable, thorough and pleasant. Fantastic value for money, and probably my future port of call for regular maintenance, rather than relaxation.
