Chaotic, very loud music - not relaxing.
Very painful waxing technique, usually technicians press down on skin after ripping wax off to soothe pain slightly - this did not happen once.
Judgemental comments about my hair being thick.
Did appreciate being asked to check the result was good - do not usually get asked, and it didn’t take too long.

I was supposed to do my blow dry with someone else and they assigned me to angelo who kept trashing my hair colour and textured the entire time. Saying whoever did the highlights should’ve learned with him (my colourist with more than 20 years of experience), and that he would’ve done 10 times better. Clearly he thought by trashing someone’s job would make me swap to him. He was very aggressive , kept pulling my hair and wouldn’t stop being sarcastic about it. Such a sad experience.
