Firstly, I just want to say the staff here are really lovely. However, if you are a woman then please be aware that this place is very much a barbers, which was not the vibe I got from treatwell. It was quite intimidating being the only woman in there, and having my hair washed in a corner surrounded by men having buzzcuts. The man washing my hair was a bit rough with my hair, and seemed quite nervous - I’m not sure he was used to styling long hair. I asked for a curly blow dry and he put a lot of effort in and did give me that. I did have to ask for some serum to get rid of flyaways and he did burn my scalp at one point. So basically, these guys are lovely and great at being barbers, however I probably wouldn’t go back as a woman with long, thick hair.
