The Brazilian blow dry itself was great, however I did not enjoy the experience. The lady who did my hair was not wearing her mask properly, and after asking politely if she can cover her nose she seemed surprised I had asked but covered it. However within minutes it was back down and remained there for the duration which made me feel very uncomfortable, especially given how long the treatment takes. I would hope that if someone knew that a client is uncomfortable then they would be considerate.

I had a gel removal and a normal pedicure booked but the staff seemed to be confused about what was planned. We were booked into their Covent Garden location but due to a system glitch (the location we chose wasn’t actually open) they had to move us to Soho instead because so I guess that could have been the reason for the confusion but even when I was sat down I was asked about a manicure.
The lady doing my pedicure was really tough taking off my gels and didn’t really leave the foils for long enough. It was only the later I realised how brutal the filing of the top layer had been because the skin around my toes have been stinging for the past two days. My friend sat down for her pedicure at the same time as my removal started and was done at the same time as me which shows has little time she took on my pedicure. There was barely any time spent on my cuticles (which I know were needed). I probably should have complained at the time but on a girls weekend, I really didn’t want to start creating a fuss, please she barely engaged with me throughout the entire experience which made it hard to flag. I wouldn’t come back.

The master was good: attentive to my comments and generally listening.
What can be done better: more vibe in the salon :)
