The manicure felt a bit rushed - wasn’t the best application. Good choice of colours.

Staff welcoming and nice extra touch of tea and biscuits but unfortunately quality of manicure this time was appalling. Rough cutting of cuticles continued even after I'd warned of dry skin and noted that blood was being drawn - on two fingers this resulted in continuous bleeding all over nail for course of next hour. The use of alcohol cleanser was then blamed - which had increased blood flow, but it hadn't been noticed that blood was already running before.
The two nails that were cut severely were rendered unpaintable, the manicure was continued regardless painting on top of blood at times. Perhaps as a result of nervousness about blood loss, the quality of the remaining manicure was poor - polish roughly applied often overlapping skin or with ragged edges. I wasn't offered any form of refund or discount, aside from offer to "redo" one nail the next day. Impossible as finger still bandaged and I'd have had to make a trip out of my way. Two of my fingers had to be bandaged for next 2 days, not great as I had some critical work meetings. I'll use Splash again but not this particular therapist or salon.
