I did the Kerastese treatment and it's like I had paid alot of money for something which I could have done a better job at home in a more comfortable setting if I had used the money to buy the tub of Kerastese treatment home (which was cheaper than what I paid). As I have waist length hair I do hair treatments at hair salons at least once in 6-8 weeks and this is definitely the worst experience I have ever had - I'm not sure if it's because it was a Treatwell promotion but the stylist allocated to me didn't seem like he was a full time stylist which had been properly trained as he clearly had no idea what he was meant to do for the treatment. I had previously done Kerastese treatments at other salons and they would at least put your hair in the steamer to help the absorption of the treatment cream. The stylist's lack of experience and skill also showed as he hurt me a number of times when blow drying my hair by either tugging at my hair too hard, poking my scalp with the brush or (the worst) burning my scalp with the hair dryer.
There were also a couple of frustrating and even scary moments as the stylist also didn't speak English and at 2 different points in time tried to cut my hair even though I had told (and gestured to) him that I did not want to. The treatment itself lasted 30mins and he took 35mins to blow dry my hair. I felt very unsafe during the entire process, especially after he took the scissors out and kept it in his tools belt.
