I went to Splash to get a blow dry.
I booked and prepaid through Treatwell, where the options were “medium length hair” and “long length hair”, and I choose “long length hair” as I have extensions.
After my hair had been washed (and therefore was all wet), another person in the salon came to be and said that I had to pay an extra £7, because I had extensions. I told him that there wasn’t any option for extension when I booked, hence I booked for “long hair”. Now, with my hair being all wet, I obviously needed a blow dry and agreed on paying the extra £7 (even though I already paid for extra for booking for “long hair” instead or “medium hair” which should have covered that).
When I was almost done with getting my blow dry, the same guy comes back and tells me that they actually were meant to close 20 minutes ago, and insinuates that I am the reason why he has to stay late. I do not know why he told me that (given the fact that I was done 1 minute later) - other than to make me feel bad. I did not ask for any extra treatment what so ever, hence I do not understand how it can me my fault, if they did not have time to do the treatment.
To summarise it was not a good experience, I didn’t feel welcome, and I will not come back.
