The salon was small and bustling with staff and clients on a Sunday afternoon. It was a very hot day and their air conditioning didn't seem to be working so I was sweating while I waited in the hairdressers area upstairs! I had a leg wax using strip wax and was very impressed with how quick and painless the treatment was (it was my first time). Claudia was friendly but did not chat away in the same manner that some therapists do - this didn't bother me though, she was focussed on what she was doing. The only complaint I would have is that when I arrived ten minutes early the receptionist checked her watch and then rolled her eyes at me and told me to take a seat which I found very unprofessional as some salons prefer it when you arrive early and it was my first time finding the place. Overall a good value, pleasant experience (for a wax!) and an efficient therapist - will be visiting again for other treatments.

this was my first visit to Splash and although the treatment i received and the Stylist i had - a very friendly spanish lady - was brilliant - the salon itself lacked in ambience and if like me - associate going for any hair treatments with a chance to unwind and relax - you will certianly not get that here. It was a very busy place buzzing yes but a bit too crowded at times. and not to mention the space it quite small. The other thing that put me offI was that I made to wait 35 minutes before i was attended to - even though i turned up on time for my appointment - and when i expressed my impatience only after waiting half an hour, the staff i spoke to just ended up rolling their eyes, apology was out of the question - not the best customer service i would say!
However - i cant recommend the hair-stylist enough - i wish i rememberd her name - but she did a brilliant job - took great care - and the brazillian blow dry has come out brilliantly well. Its only been few weeks so far but am hoping it lasts me atleast 3 months. Will probably be back only for the Stylist, if not for anyhting else.
FANTASTIC Value! Amazing treatment, my therapist was lovely and attentive with my shellac manicure. All of the staff in the venue were fun and bubbly. My manicure is now 2 weeks old and no chips, great colour. I will be rebooking now!
Friendly therapist, really tried her best, however the place was overcrowded with hairdressers and their blowdries and the manicure table was tucked in to a small corner next to the window. Rather limited selection of colours for shellac, but overall the treatment was satisfying and worth the price.
I was told I would have the beautician I had asked for (I already knew her from a previous appointment in a different saloon from the same chain) and when I arrived, I had someone else doing me the manicure. She was ok (very nice) but she rushed me so much when leaving that the manicure was not dry enough and by the time I made it to the tube station, some of the polish was already messed up although I had been very careful trying not to touch anything).
Also, I was supposed to have an hour manicure but in 45 min. I was told we were done.
I guess this is because I took the last appointment of the day and the personel in the beauty salon wanted to go home soon but I ended up being quite unhappy with the whole experience.
