I've had some pretty shoddy/ half- arsed efforts at Hollywood waxing recently. This was easily one of the best and minimally painful. Would really recommend. The only downside to this was that I was kept waiting for ten mins but the beautician apologised profoundly and got me a lovely glass of wine.
I was tempted by the shellac manicure at Splash because it was only £16 (compared to the usually much higher prices of this treatment). However, I could sort of feel that it was a £16 manicure. The lady who did my nails was very nice but the rest of the staff wasn't very friendly. The people who worked there were loud and unprofessional in my opinion. The manicure in itself was okay, it took a long time for one of my nails to dry and the final finish wasn't very shiny. Also, my manicure started chipping two days after I got it. I don't know if I would go back for a shelac manicure. Maybe next time I'll get just a normal mani.
Although I was a bit late, they accepted me immediately. I had a bikini and half leg wax for a great price. The staff was lovely, very efficient and will continue to return to this place.
