Nice place, welcoming stuff, quick service.
Always good value for money. Staff are nice.
A good wax, especially given the price. The staff here are almost always lovely, things usually run on time and services are reliably well executed. One thing that's increasingly bothering me, though: cleanliness. There's always fresh paper roll on the treatment bed, but I'm starting to wonder if, from month to month, the towels on the bed are washed at all. When I go in and undress for a bikini wax, I usually grab the folded towel on the bed to cover myself, because the size of the salon means that when a door is opened, people are right outside. I don't really want to anyone to see me lying on a bed with a naked vagina when the therapist walks back in, thank you. Because I'd been concerned about the state of the towels last time, I inspected this one, to see if it was laundered but stained (I understand not all marks come out, and it doesn't mean something is unclean) or genuinely, properly grubby. It was genuinely, properly, revoltingly GRUBBY. With still-sticky globs of wax on it from someone else's treatment. So THAT person - and how many others before them? - had presumably used that towel to cover their privates, too. And I'm guessing that clients after me did, too - that it was simply re-folded. That. Is. Unsanitary. And absolutely disgusting. Please, Splash, sort this out (I imagine this is a management decision and nothing to do with the therapists themselves). Next time, if I see grubby towels, I'll be formally complaining. Not good enough.
Really happy with my manicure and pedicure. It's such good value for money for the service.
Quick service and professional, but on this particular visit they forgot to offer refreshments which would be nice to have on a hot summer day
