I love Treatwell and have NEVER left a bad review for any of the salons.. This.. was actually the worst manicure I’ve ever had. From the moment I checked in with the lady at the counter I had a bad feeling about it. As she was looking over her schedule /notes she had her mouth wide open, picking her back teeth with her finger.. Really gross first impression, Splash salon! She said her colleague would be right with me so I decided to give it a chance, seeing as it was not her. The lady who did my manicure was very sweet but I was honestly disgusted by the staff’s hygiene levels. She started sniffling towards the end of the treatment and kept wiping her nose repeatedly with the back of her hand.. yes, the one she was also using to do my nails. Eek. I was so shocked and I asked her if she could wash her hands.. she acknowledged it but just wiped her nose and continued. Looking back I should have asked her to stop tight there and then - I think I was just sooo shocked by it and her continuing I didn’t know what to do. I had also booked and prepaid for an additional appointment which I told them to cancel. I didn’t even ask for my money back I just wanted to get the hell out of there. It’s not cheap either - so what excuse do they have for this absolutely gross standard?? I’m baffled how this place has good reviews. Must be the hair salon upstairs doing the good work. The nail salon downstairs is not okay. Definitely not returning. Anyone who wants a nice relaxing treatment and holds hygiene important - stay away!!

My hairdresser was very knowledgeable and gave me a perfect cut and blowdry. She checked at ever stage how I would like things to be done without being overbearing or toooo chatty!

Not the tidiest shellac I've ever had done, little messy round the edges but it has lasted well. Good value but you get what you pay for.
