First time I went spa and I'm happy I chose this one!
It has a dark ambiance which I personally find very relaxing but for others this may back fire. The hypnotherapy pool is lovely, with its 3 jacuzzi massage benches and areas. Could be a little less warm however. Steam room was too hot , couldn't bare it. Sauna room was lit up nicely and was great. Overal the spa is quite small and luckily we went in the early hours and as we were leaving it started to get busy with couples.
I had a neck back shoulder massage which was super! It hurt a lot at one point but that's simply because I had major muscle knots ! She did a fantastic job in removing them!
I'd def recommend this place, I'd visit again if it wasn't so far.
Loved it - just what we needed. Quite small facilities but luckily we went on a Monday so there weren't too many people - the relaxation room was a bit crowded at one point but it didn't cause too much of a problem. The spa facilities themselves were good, but again might be a bit crowded on a busier day. Will definitely be back at some point. The massage treatment was wonderful.
I could not recommend spa verta enough. The staff were so welcoming and professional. The treatments I received were by far the best I have ever had. From start the finish the whole experience was everything and more that I could of wanted. The facilities are great. Even the manager was extremely efficient, friendly and made us feel extra special. The spa is definitely one of the best spas for all round experience. I will definitely be recommending to all of my friends.
Overall we had a very enjoyable and relaxing day. The spa facilities were some of the best I have experienced in terms of variety and quality, though I am glad we went on a Sunday as I can imagine it gets full quickly at other times. The one thing that could have improved this area would be some ambient music.
Our meal and massage were also very enjoyable. The only aspect letting down the meal was that there was a piece of music on loop, which became tiresome and distracting.
I wouldn't rate this a 5 star hotel, the spa was lovely and so were the staff. Our room was very comfortable and the view over the heliport made the experience wonderful. Upgrading cost an extra £40 and was probably what made the night worthwhile.
The restaurant staff and food quality was disgusting. We booked a table for 9 and was left waiting there for 10 minutes until the waitress/bar staff came and told us to sit where we wanted. The food was tasteless and badly presented. The delay after ordering was so long they offered us complimentary cocktails to which had no alcohol in at all. Book a table somewhere outside the hotel!! Over all my partner had a lovely birthday and would recommend the spa and a treatment but not the over night package.
