Lovely ambiance and good facilities. Only 2 problems, the spinner for the swimming costumes was broken and the body wash disoenser was empty
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The facilities were okay - sauna was good but the experience shower wasn't working for example. The massage was very light even after I've asked for more pressure. Lunch was mediocre too.
The treatments were wonderful - I was apprehensive about having all three treatments one after the other but it was extremely relaxing. I would return for the treatments but not for a spa day, the pool area was very noisy and not relaxing at all and there was nowhere to lay except in the sauna or steam room.
We spent a little time in the relaxation room after our treatments but went home at lunchtime.
The good bit first. My beauty treatments and the therapist who did them were first class. But the rest was truly awful. There was nobody at the spa reception when I arrived and it took time to locate somebody who was clueless about my booking and didn't bother to show me around the spa. The steam room smelled of sewage, there were noisy workmen wandering around, the 'shower experience' and footbaths were broken, and the spa area was tiny. The shower in the changing room was pathetic and there was only one loo. Other guests spoke to me about how smelly the steam room was and complained about the tiny area. I was so disappointed I left early - I had booked a whole day but left after a short time. A real let down.
