the spa treatments were fab and the ambiance in there was lovely. the only thing i found let the experience down was lack of Jacuzzi or hot tub. overall we loved it.

The hotel was ok, but i wouldnt rate it as 4 star. My bed in another well known cheaper hotel was more comfortable the night before. Meal was acceptable, although pleased i didnt spend on it as was in my package. The room was clean apart from the bathroom which had a mucky bath and just wasnt nicely finished.

More like a leisure centre than a spa

A lovely spa overnight stay. Friendly staff, wonderful food for both the evening meal and breakfast. Great value for money. The hotel itself set in wonderful grounds although in places a little tired. Having said that there seemed to be decorating going on so all in all could not fault.

The hotel is lovely - in a tiny village so you can really feel detached from modern life. Wifi and data are both good if you want to stream movies though. The spa is in a building next door and the spa rooms are lovely as are the staff. The pool and steam/ sauna are a bit leisure centre though and the could do with being an area with a bit more ambience to relax.

Great location and the treatments were very relaxing. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. There aren't many loungers around the pool but the website does state this. The pool was a good temperature and the steam room was very clean and not too overbearing. We did not use the sauna. Lunch! Oh my! Lunch was amazing and ready for us when we went over to the restaurant. The food was sensational. The location was great for us as only a 30minute drive from Northampton. Would definitely recommend.

My wife, 4 yr old daughter and myself stayed at the hotel and was provided with an executive room - yes, the executive room has a Corby Trouser press dun-dun-dah. The room was very clean and the sofa was converted into a bed for my daughter.

As part of the package we had inclusive; Evening 3 course meal, breakfast and tickets to Warwick Castle. As a package it was very good value. The evening 3 course meal was excellent with lots of choice. A couple of the meals included a supplement (e.g. sirloin/rib eye steak, cheese board). I opted to pay a supplement for the rib eye steak and was not disappointed - it was delicious. A nice touch was the children's menu providing a varied choice of options. For breakfast a vast buffet included an array of hot and cold items with table service for tea/coffee. We did visit the spa - well just the swimming pool which was good. I liked the fact they split the pool down the middle allowing children to use just one section without interfering with fitness lap swimmers. Limited seating is available around the pool but was all taken by robe lounging guests fresh from some treatment...

The inclusion of the tickets to Warwick Castle was the main reason we stayed and wanted to turn the experience into an adventure for a 4yr old.

In summary; Good clean hotel, friendly staff and good launchpad for visiting Warwick Castle. Would book again and take a smart pair of trousers to put in the Corby trouser press.
