Had Stimulating Hip & Thigh Treatment and absolutely loved it. The therapist was very nice. Everything was explained before the treatment for a peace of mind. The treatment went well. My thighs were smoother instantly and I could feet the detoxing effect throughout the rest of the day. Thumb up!

I booked in for a half leg wax and a Brazilian wax here. The two stars are for the half leg wax alone, which I was happy with and the therapist was lovely. However, the brazilian wax is another story. I initially chose Spa in the City because they used Lycon wax which is supposedly one of the best waxes to use. The waxing itself was really painful and it was coming off in small sections as it was put on too hot. At one point, it wouldn't even come off - prolonging the agony. I thought I might have to tell the therapist to stop as it was so painful and I got the feeling that the therapist wasn't the most experienced. To top it off, after all the pain, I got home and there was quite a bit of hair that had been missed. After paying a lot of money for this wax, I was expecting far more. I've had much better, painless, efficient waxes for less than half the price before.
The therapist was lovely and I'm sure other treatments would be of a high standard, but I just wouldn't come back for this kind of wax.

Recently received a Hollywood wax at this lovely salon. Staff are all very friendly. My therapist made me feel very comfortable. The treatment was quick and almost painless (which is fab for a Hollywood!) The lycon wax definitely makes a huge difference. Minimal pain and no irritation whatsoever afterwards. I couldn't have a wax without it! Thanks spa in the city 😃 I'll definitely be back and recommend to friends x
