Not sure about the hygiene levels at this place - not a particularly professional facial experience
I felt surprised when I arrived here to find the spa in the basement of the Better Leisure swimming pool. The locker room was tiny, the facilities I felt were somewhat limited. They didn’t put any lights on around the communal spa area so it felt dark and dingy and the relaxation room was cold. My treatments were fine, although disturbed twice by the fire alarm going off because someone left the steam room door open. Sadly it didn’t feel like the nice experience I’d expect from a spa day.
We had an enjoyable evening at the spa. With two saunas, two steam rooms, Turkish bath hot rooms and a plunge pool, there’s plenty of space. The relaxation lounge with complimentary tea and flavoured water was a great place to rest between spells in the hot rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful.
