I didn't use the spa, so I can't comment on that, but the leg wax was fine - it didn't hurt at all and the therapist was very thorough- however, the room was a bit clinical, I was waiting for quite a while for the room to be ready, and the treatment took longer than I'm used to in a different venue.
Ladies' Leg Waxing
Spa Experience is a really nice facility to have locally and is quite high quality, although a few finishing touches might bring the place up to a 5 star experience. The thermal area is small but really nicely laid out and the relaxation area is lovely (although the sound of the hot water machine can ruin the ambience slightly!)
My therapist listened to my skin concerns and took time to understand what my issues were. The facial itself was very enjoyable and was a good introduction to Murad - a brand I hadn't used before this. My skin was radiant all weekend and I'd certainly return
Classic Facials
Wax was much slower and more painful than others I've had. Beautician missed a lot of hairs in seemingly obvious places and I was very disappointed with the result. She also used wax and linen strips for some places and hot wax for others, for a Brazilian I would usually expect just hot wax as it gives a better result. Expected a little redness as is usual after a wax but ended up with a nasty rash that took a few days to calm down. Will not be using this place again as I feel I would have been better off shaving at home!!
Brazilian Waxing
When I arrived I waited a couple of minutes at reception as the staff were busy doing something else, but were very apologetic. I then waited a further 10 minutes as the room had not been prepared but the facial itself was absolutely wonderful and the best I've had yet! I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.
