I had initially booked the 75 mins back shoulder massage followed by a terre de la mer facial. When i first arrived, i was kept waiting for about 15 whilst filling out a form. Then i found that i could not do the treatment as i was allergic to shellfish and the ingredients may trigger an allergy reaction. However the therapist offered to change it to other treatments on the menu. So i picked the thalgo hydration facial which was 55 mins but had to pay the difference which was £20 i think. The therapist gave me a 75 mins facial treatment as opposed to the 55 mins off the menu. So even though i had to make up the difference, i felt ok. The therapist was really good, her techniques were slow and deliberate and really helped me relax as i am not always able to relax during facials. The quietness of the place was also good, i think it must have been well insulated, so that i cannot hear other people walking in the corridor or people in the next rooms as in some other places. The ambience of the room was just right. So despite the earlier hiccups, i thoroughly enjoyed it!
Swiss Cottage Spa London had a new facial introduced and I took Wahanda's mod deal to experience it. The voucher said a back massage and facial would be included and I was expecting just a complimentary 10 minute massage but to my surprise it was almost 30 minutes long and absolute amazing! The therapist knew just where my knots were and slowly worked through my main stress points. The facial itself was great too with a lot of massage strokes, great mask etc. Although the only downside was she did not do an extraction that I usually get done in my facials. Overall Great place and a good facial for relaxing and de-stressing.
The treatment wasshorter than described on the web. The staff was friendly while the skill was not as great as facials i had at other spas before. Overall, it was a so-so experience.
I had a 70 minutes organic facial. The therapist was very friendly and the facial was fabulous. The spa is small but modern and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Very good value for money and I would definitely have the facial again.
Easily located venue with helpful and friendly staff. I had a gel manicure and after 3 weeks still no chips and has lasted very well. The nail does grow so if you choose a strong colour you will need to have it redone after about 2 weeks. very happy with the service, manicure and price so will definitely go again. After this manicure you will not want to go back to a normal manicure that might chip by the time you get home.
