I went to Spa LONDON at Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre to have an ear candling treatment done - it was my first time having it so I was quite scared, but the therapist put me at ease and explained all the process.
It was quite relaxing and a nice experience overall - I might go back for other treatments as well, as I was very happy with what I had, and the therapist was very friendly and professional, and the premises were nice and clean.

I booked the Elemis Facials - Elemis Skin Solutions SOS Purifying Facial. When I first arrived I struggled to locate the spa, but one I found I was quickly seated and handed a form to complete. I was introducd to my therapist and taken to the treatment room to get changed. The treatment chairs are incredible and the heat from them was very relaxing. The treatment inteslf was very good. I had several scrubs applied to my face with varying degrees of coarseness. After each treatment a hot cloth with essential oils (I think she had rose, orange blossom and tea tree) was applied to open the pores and make you more relaxed. She also applied a vitamin booster mask, like a paper mask with cut outs for the eyes, nose and mouth. I found it made my skin feel really hot and prickly and told the therapist this. She assured me that it was normal but as I hadn't been forewarned I wasn't expecting the sensation. She also massaged my neck and shoulders with oils (Monoi I think). However, although the therapist was very nice she was distracted at times by the fact that the CD player kept skipping which caused her to become so distracted she knocked lots of glass bottles on to the floor, startling us both.
On the whole the treatment was pleasant, I really liked the Elemis products used and for the price I would go back.
Its my 10th time going spa London Swiss cottage . first time when i went there i was really nervous. but after i had my massage , i was feeling really good. also therapist told me to what to use in home for tension relief and daily routine. excellent service. i am going now every time Spa London Swiss Cottage. my therapist is really nice honest and very good. her name Bushra. i will never forget her name. also she done my facial and eyebrow threading . all over she is excellent therapist. i will recommend every one to go Spa London Swiss Cottage.. Love you Spa London.. :)
I have been at SPA London at Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre in November 2013 for an HOPI Ear Candling Treatment.
It was my first time having such treatment done and I was quite worried about it. When I arrived at the venue, it was earlier than the time I had booked for the appointment, nevertheless I was asked straight away to fill the form re. my health situation, and then I was asked to go inside the treatment room and get partly undressed in order to carry out the treatment.
The room was big and nice. The therapist explained how the treatment worked and then we started.
She was chatty, but in the same time the overall experience was very relaxing as well.
When we have completed the treatment on both ears about 30/40 mins later I was allowed to check out while the therapist was opening the candles to show me the result, and she was explaining to me everything I could see in it, then she left the room to let me get dressed. It was a very nice experience and I am very happy with it all, so I will definitely go back, should I need HOPI Ear Candling Treatment again.
Spa london is not good! I recieved a wax and a massage here and both were alful! I had a short women with brown hair do my treatments im not entirely sure what her name was it was something like britney? Or tiffany? Her costumer care was appauling an seemed like she was constantly in a rush? For the massage i had a bowl placed under my face which smelt like mint? Im not quite sure what this was for but my eyes streamed the whole way through, she didnt give good pressure an stopped my treatment early!? As for the waxing i had brusing on my upper thighs and a patch of hair was left on the left side of my leg! To top it all off the toilets in the lesiure centre are discraceful! The floors were soaked and two taps did not work. Overall a bad experience all round. Do not go here.
