The treatments were luxurious and so relaxing. Great value for money. The facilities could have been a bit cleaner and the jacuzzi was out of order. They gave me a £10 voucher for the jacuzzi, so will definitely be going back again!
I was very disappointed with the treatment I received from the manager- or should I say lack of. The jacuzzi wasn’t working and one of the therapists informed me of this on the Friday evening by phone message. I returned the call, but no answer. I called on Saturday morning to be told I could reschedule or receive a £10 voucher to return to use the thermal facilities at a later date. I was not in a position to do either, so I asked if we could gave a mini- treatment or perhaps a lunch voucher instead. The girls said she would ask the manager who would be in at 11 am, and would get back to me. She didn’t get back to me. We arrived on Sunday and I asked if the manager had got back to them about my request. The girls said no, and that she would call the manager. We had our treatments and again I asked if the manager had responded. The answer was an embarrassed ‘no’! When I asked if I could speak with the manager, I was told the manager would be back the following morning at 11. I received an email from the manager the following afternoon asking if I had been offered a £10 voucher to return to use the thermal facilities. I wrote to her, sharing my experience and expressing my dissatisfaction with the lack of communication with someone in authority, to be told she was on her days off! At not time was I told this,indeed I was told she was in at 11 on Saturday!! I also told her that both showers in the treatment rooms were cold. She rejected that my daughters shower was cold and said my therapist said it was warm before I entered it and expressed her apology for my ‘short’ cool shower! Astounding that she Wallis argue with me and infer I shouldn’t be complying because I only needed a short shower! I reiterated that I had not received the package I had booked and paid for and that I was not given the opportunity to discuss this with anybody in authority and that this was unacceptable. I was offered a voucher for another visit to the thermal spa but rejected it. Incredible lack of professional behaviour!
I will say both therapists we’re excellent.
I will not be returning to Epsom spa and I will discourage anybody from going there. What an arrogant manager!
