I am a regular at the Spa. I have all my beauty treatments there with the lovely Paige. Once you are through the doors of the spa is lovely and I just feel very relaxed there!
0n this day wasn't as good as when I had half leg wax early last 0ctober. I had booked on line the day before but when I arrived at Spa the receptionist couldn't find a record of the booking. She went 'behind the scenes' to investigate but still no luck. After a while it transpired that the on line booking hadn't been noted on the desk paperwork. After a wait I was hurried into spa room near the waiting area. There was very little verbal interaction from the spa worker. I am no 'spring chicken' and it was quite a climb onto the couch! The waxing was started immediately and was very hot indeed. As I had only had one previous experience of waxing (when it had been more been more bearable) I thought that this very hot temperature might have been normal. Almost immediately after application the wax was stripped off very quickly indeed and was uncomfortable. Again very little verbal interaction as I climbed off the couch in rather an ungainly fashion as I had assumed the treatment had been completed! And that was that. As the
treatment worker had been working on another colleague's toes in reception on my arrival an then they discovered my booking, the treatment room was prepared in a hurry. The treatment workers were pleasant enough, but compared to 0ctober when a more senior lady performed the waxing in a more relaxed fashion, and told me about the procedure and things to
remember afterwards , the whole experience last week was of a much lower standard. I would come again but would ask for a more senior worker,
My legs were itching quite frantically afterwards and it took a few hours for the redness to wear off.
Eyelash tint ok but missed lower lashes Eyebrows looked awful and one was darker than the other. Have been going to Spa London for years and have always been very pleased. Maybe the girl was having a off day
