I attended the spa as part of my family hen do and I booked in for the bridal package, which included a massage, facial and hand massage treatment. It was an amazing experience, I had Delphina, who was a gem and so lovely, I felt so relaxed and looked after and I would definitely book in again, and specifically request Delphina! She was experienced and attentive, letting me know what was happening and checking in with me! She also recommended reading material to me and we had a lovely chitchat! It was personable and a lovely experience! It was the perfect start to my hen spa and really set me up to have a great evening!
I treated myself to the Kasia Peaceful Pregnancy Face and Body, treatment today and oh my gosh it was incredible. I had the lovely Lorraine (I hope I got this correct because she was amazing) for my treatment and she was so welcoming from the first second I met her. Genuinely the nicest treatment I have ever had. I also received such a warm welcome to the spa from Kate and other therapists, I felt at home from the get go. I will certainly be returning and recommending to anyone possible. Thank you for making me (and bump) feel so lovely and chilled. Chelsea xx
Me and my husband Made use of the leisure/spa facilities whilst staying at the hotel. Staff were very welcoming and helpful especially Kate who went above and beyond for us. Facilities were okay - (a little dated) but the garden was amazing and we had the weather for it too and enjoyed a cocktail on the sun loungers. I highly recommend a back massage with Lyndsey. Probably the best back massage I’ve ever had and exactly what I needed during a stress free night away without the kids. Treatment rooms were lovely too. We will definitely be back and recommend to all
Lots of good stuff...but lots could be improved. Having visited many spa's - hotel and standalone - abroad and in the UK - this is my assessment: Ambience - relaxing, not overcrowded Treatments - superb as were the rooms Food - good but nothing special - slow service though Staff - helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, professional What could be done better: Size of spa - this is really the main issue - actually fairly limited facilities, hamman is a relaxing area (as there are only 4 beds in the relaxation room) which is not what a Hamman is meant to be and only 5 loungers by pool. Nice steam room and sauna, but both v small. Nothing else, but a dated pool and jacuzzi. No seating in changing rooms, no changing rooms for privacy, loo roll not in holder, no conditioner in shower (no labels on toiletries so no idea which the shampoo was), dated hairdryer and straighteners. In the eating area - seats the right height for the tables!! If you sit at a "dining" table your chairs are the same as those used at coffee tables - crazy!! Given this is supposed to be a landmark hotel in Cheshire - it's really not as good as Thornton Hall and that is also looking quite dated now. Outdoor jacuzzis, foot spa areas, ice fountains, medi showers, heated beds for relaxation - there are lots of things that could be included to lift this establishment.
