Sole Beauty was not what I expected. I booked SB as I wanted a decongestant facial in a clean, relaxing atmosphere. When I arrived, SB was empty apart from 3 members of staff who were too busy socialising to greet me in a professional manner. After waiting for 5 minutes, my therapist sweetly greeted me and took me downstairs to what I can only describe as a damp, poorly insulated basement "shoe box" of a therapy room. I have to say, at that stage I wanted to leave immediately. However, politeness got the better of me and I stayed. My therapist started the treatment, I could hear everything above us due to no acoustic insolation under the floor boards. The therapist breaked occasionally to cough, she apologised and told me she had been sick since returning from holiday. 20 minutes into the treatment, after she applied the face mask I was left to "relax" for 10 minutes. whilst she tried to squeeze her way out of the shoe box therapy room without knocking over the various products on the moveable tray table. She returned and removed the mask. Shortly, after my treatment was over, I quickly paid (more like overpaid) for my facial and ran out the door. I would not recommend having a facial at Sole Beauty, they have not invested enough in their facilities and I felt sorry for my therapist having to work whilst being ill.
