Lovely staff, great value.
Really clean and relaxing environment with friendly staff who know what they are doing. I will definitely return.
It's the second time I am visiting Skin & Tonic for massage treatment. The therapist was amazing. Finally a deep tissue that was actually deep tissue. Only thing that maybe concider in the future to provide beds with the facehole for massages as I had very tense trapeziums muscles and it was hard to switch my head on one or the other side. Overall I was very happy with the massage and definately i will go back to see the same therapist:)
Anita was a really nice girl so I feel bad to write a bad review:-(. I have a lot of experience of having the shrinking velvet and this experience was below par. Firstly they take a couple of measurement but don't mark it, to get a accurate measurement you need it to be in the exact place. She then rubbed a bit of oil on my tummy and told me to stand up so she could wrap me. I had to tell her that the oil is usually rubbed in on my side and back as it's my midriff not just the tummy earlier. She the massaged some oil into my sides and then wrap me but really loosely and didn't cover my tummy fully and the bottom of my tummy was hanging out so had to ask for some more film and wrapped it round myself. You are usually advise to keep hydrated and some after care but nothing. I was going to have a course but decided to stick to the one. The salon which I normally go to wrap you properly all over your body, you are brought a glass of water and checked on at least once, you are given a disposable knickers and bra to change into. They measure you and Mark it plus they advise you on aftercare. I thought I would try this has its local but I prefer to pay the extra £10 and have it done properly.
This was my first Indian head massage and it was amazing! What I loved is that the staff explained to me what they were doing, so not only did it feel like an amazing massage but it felt like they knew what they're doing. I'll definitely be going back there soon. If they had a 60-minute option for the Indian Head Massage, I'd definitely buy it!
