It was a while ago but very bad wax. Wasn't asked to hold skin taut etc. Just ripped it whilst talking.

Pedicure
The massage felt very half hearted and I didn't feel much benefit at all. It started 20 minutes late, and the time wasn't fully compensated. So it only lasted about 45 mins instead of the hour paid.
The massage seemed quite weak (and I'm told I have a low pain threshold), to be honest it just felt a little without effort. The bed was also squeaking with every movement. Staff were very pleasant and price obviously is good but I'd prefer to pay more for a more skilled massage. I wasn't asked anything - not preferences/sore spots etc at all during session.

I came in on a Monday and it was a bit of a busy day for the staff so I had to wait for a bit, but because it was off-peak I received a 25% discount on the booking, which was very welcome.
I'd been to this salon before and the staff are always really welcoming and nice, and get the job done quickly. I was with a new member of staff (whose name I've sadly forgotten), but she was also really sweet and up for a chat.
I've always felt very comfortable coming here, it's very much an all-girls environment most of the time and that helps when going for things like hollywood waxing. It took a little bit longer to get the hair out this time than usual, which is why I'm giving the treatment 4 stars rather than 5, but I don't think that was the therapist's fault at all and I was still out of there after less than 20 mins.
