I went here for a Brazillian wax and asked for hot waxed. The lady sewd miserable and started the appointment by telling me how overworked she was. She then proceeded to ask me 3 times if she could do cold strip wax instead as it was quicker?! Clearly I had stated I wanted hot as that's what I wanted. She then asked so many times and suggested half and half hot/cold so I said ok. It was so painful and she went over the same patches that I was literally bruised and my skin bleeding. Over the course of the next week thick chunky scabs were flaking off my skin and 2 weeks later the bruising went.
She didn't even hold my skin taught during the wax, which made it hurt far more

I have been to Skin & Tonic a few times now, and the experience improves every time, as the staff get to know me better. Having said that, this time I had someone new - Bilkiss - and she was absolutely fantastic. Quick and efficient, but very, very thorough. Highly recommended.

I went originally for Microdermabrasion but the machine was broken so i end up having facial with extraction etc! I didn't really mind the swap us i needed both really ! Sam as always fantastic and knowledgeable! Also her waxing painless
