I LOVE this salon, and the people who work there. Everyone is super lovely, their service is amazing and you just feel really comfortable, even if your own knowledge equals 0. Emilie saved my hair with a colour correction after a very bad hair experience somewhere else and I have been coming to the salon ever since. More than 5 stars for all of them!
Sister Bliss was advertised as offering ‘free haircuts’ to kids donating hair to the Little Princess Trust. However, it turns out this is not entirely the case. I took my daughter to the salon recently, excited for her first donation experience. Despite this, from the time of booking to the actual haircut, there was no mention of any charges until finished. Specifically, when I made the booking, I mentioned that I found them through the Little Princess Trust website, which stated they provided free haircuts. The young hairdresser explained that tying the hair and making one cut for the donation was free, but evening out the length would incur a full charge. Frankly, any mom could easily do that bit at home. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this place, as I believe they deliberately mislead customers. Additionally, the haircut itself was overpriced.

Although I may have missed the details on your website since I booked over the phone, I specifically inquired about the free haircut associated with hair donation during the booking process. Unfortunately, I was not informed about any charges at that time. Your hairdresser also apologized for this oversight during my visit, which suggests a miscommunication that led to my concerns. Additionally, I am curious about the procedure for hair donation, particularly why the hair washing occurred after the donation cut. It seems that washing the hair prior to donation would ensure that the hair is clean and in the best condition possible for its intended use. Anyway, thanks for your attention to these matters.

Not a local, but was attending a wedding in the area and booked at SB to get an up-do on the big day, around the hairband that I planned to wear. Was hoping for the best but had no idea really what to expect: all I can say is that if you are looking for wedding hair anywhere in the Loughborough area, don't hesitate to book at Sister Bliss and ask for Sarah! Very friendly and professional service, she called me beforehand at my request to chat over what I was hoping for, and on the day listened very carefully to what I wanted and achieved it quickly and beautifully. I obviously wanted it to last, so told her to go all out with the Elnette, but in fact it felt as soft as it looked, and was comfortable till 1am, whilst staying very much put. Got lots of compliments, and felt great; thank you very much Sarah!
Had a fabulous afternoon with Maisie. She has used her training in textured hair to tame my curls and create an amazing no-frizz style. I love the cherry red colour too! Super friendly salon and staff.
