I had shellac nails done here and I have to confess that my first impression as i walked in was not great. One lady was smiling but that was clouded over by he fact that the other lady looked like she didnt want to be there. They messed up the appointment times and even though there were no customers they did not attend to both of us at the same time as promised. When the second therapist finally decided to start on my friend she looked like she didnt know what she was doing. In the end the other therapist had to take over which I felt was unprofessional. She then was passed over to me to give a hand massage which felt like she was being punished. It really wasn't the pleasant relaxing treat I was looking forward to all week so I was very disappointed. To make it worse, 3 nails had smudges so I guess I'll have to stare at that for 2 weeks. I wish I'd spent an extra 20 pounds and paid full price somewhere that really understands nails.
Sorry for the rant but I feel we need to be honest when it comes to spending money.
Had the shellac nails,for £15 an absolute steal!The nailvarnishes were the original CND brand, but with a non branded UV lamp. Sophie was very thorough. Although on one hand the varnish "shrank", leaving visible ripples under the top coat. I have had many shellac treatments before and have never come across this issue. The nails have a great shine and overall look great.

The body exfoliation was no good at all ! The girl scrubbed it rigorously like I was made of wood it was so painful but I kept quiet thinking she would realise herself how violently she was doing it but no she carried on and only done if for 2 mins each fastly on each area of the body! The massage was good but again the same problem with her being too harsh, she'd ask me if the pressure was ok at first when she began n it was so i said yes but then she got progressively worse n worse. She seemed to look at me weird as well which made me really uncomfortable and also had no conversation or welcoming attitude. I wouldn't like to go back for anything there except the massage but by someone else !

The salon is a utilitarian, however I had a speedy but professional manicure (two week shellac).
My cuticles had gotten really scrappy, but were tidied up brilliantly. Two weeks later, my nails still look perfect (and the polish was applied low to the base of the nail, so the new growth isn't hugely visible, I think the polish will be fine for a further week or so, really pleased with it.
