I came here around Christmas time after using a £10 off voucher. Compared to other salons, £20 for a wash, treatment, cut and blow dry with complimentary head and hand massage seemed amazing! I'd booked it for early in the morning so I could go straight home afterwards, but unfortunately they called and said I'd either have to go in that afternoon instead and potentially have a less senior stylist. Fortunately, it is at least just on my doorstep.
Understandably, the salon was very busy at that time and the staff seemed rushed off their feet. I was offered a head massage when having my hair washed, which was quick and a little lackluster and didn't really seem any different to what you often get when having your hair washed anyway. The hand massage was never mentioned.
My haircut was speedily done but did what I asked for, and months later is still looking good (I'm growing it as long as possible, which usually means an agonisingly scruffy few months). The treatment smelled lovely and left my hair soft.
Overall, I was reluctant to leave a less than amazingly positive review because the time of the year and how busy the salon was meant they'd have to be superhuman to offer the best possible service. I'm sure if I returned at a quieter time (when the hand massage was included) it would have been wonderful.

Another lovely visit to Shrine. I was very pleased with my hair and the staff were friendly and professional....but I did miss my complementary scalp and hand massage...have they gone forever or was it just me?

Another lovely blowdry by Jaymie. Lovely coffee, and lovely treatment,all the extras that make you feel pampered. My hair still got the lovely curl and body from blowdry.
