Nathan was amazing and spent so long on my hair ensuring he achieved the colour I was looking for! Loved it! Also you get a very relaxing massage before your appointment which was a plus.
This place is a great place which I hadn't realised was even there.
I'm rarely one to leave negative reviews and I was absolutely excited to get my haircut reading the reviews on here. The staff and the atmosphere were lovely, however the haircut is one of the worst I've had in years. I didn't notice this in the salon as my hair was curled, however the moment I washed my hair and styled it as normal I could see the flaws. People have pointed chunks of hair that stick out as they are longer than the rest, and the front face framing layers are super choppy and not even slightly symmetrical despite my middle parting. Somehow the cut made my hair look damaged, so I'm extremely disappointed. Perhaps it was my hair that's responsible (I have quite an odd hair type), so maybe my experience was an odd one out. However, for the lovely service and curl I'd recommend them for styling and blowouts, but the haircut I'm left with is awful, I might have to cut a lot of my length off to get rid of the damage. Such a shame because the staff were amazing!
Nathan couldn’t have been more friendly, we talked about what was best for my hair and what he thought I should do but didn’t push me. He spent so much time and care during my whole appointment.
I am super happy with my cut and highlights done by Nathan at Shine. This is the only hairdressers I go to and I always love the result. Would totally recommend!!
From the moment I stepped down the stairs from the craziness of Brighton on a Saturday to the tranquil setting at Shine my whole body relaxed. Coupled that with the delicious shoulder massage and friendliness of the staff I knew I was onto a winner.
Nathan, my stylist, was utterly amazing. Not only was he friendly, kind and knowledgeable, he is an absolutely AWESOME cutter. He cut my choppy pixie cut with such care and attention, it's the best cut I have ever had and it looks gorgeous. I absolutely love it and won't be going anywhere else now!
