I arrived early and was seen early for my cut and blow dry. It had been months since my last cut so my hair was quite damaged due to colouring as well. The stylist offered me lots of advice on future colouring and how to treat my hair. Super happy with the cut and style she gave me. Highly recommended!
I had really frizzy hair, but now my hair looks and feels so healthy. The stylist did a fantastic job, she was very friendly and listened to what i wanted.
I decided to wait a 1 week before writing my review to see how my haircut and highlights stood the test of time and I'm pleased to say that it still looks as good as when I left chic touch despite having been to the gym today. ehsan cut my hair very expertly and it's always nice to have somebody who obviously enjoys what he is doing. I got what I wanted and I've already booked my next appointment on the strength of this experience.
I loved the place! Especially my hair stylist was excellent. Best haircut and colour that i have ever got. The value was great due to the voucher bought from Treatwell. I hope I can afford to go back there again.
The salon was very busy when I went in, which is a good sign, but it also meant I had to wait a half hour until someone was ready to see me. The salon was very dirty with hair on the floor everywhere, not just around the hairdressing chairs. There were dirty cups left on the table where the waiting area was which I had to move out of the way to put my tea down. My highlights turned out ok but a little patchy and you could really tell the uneveness of the colour during the blowdry. My hair is really long and gets tangled easily so I'm used to it being a bit of a struggle to comb through but the stylist was particularly brutal. At one point I thought he was going to rip my hair out and my neck was hurting from him pulling at my hair so violently. I've never understood why supposed hair experts use a fine tooth comb on big tangles - I use a wide tooth comb and its much gentler and less painful on tangled hair. Anyway, the blowdry was the biggest disappointment. I specifically scheduled my hair appointment for Saturday evening so I could leave the salon with beautiful, bouncy hair for a party I was going to later but I left looking like I'd been through a tornado. I asked to have volume and curl and he didn't manage to do either. The final insult was when I was leaving and they wanted me to pay £20 for having long hair!!! I was prepared to pay the £10 long hair surcharge as this was stated in the terms and conditions but I was gobsmacked when they said it would be £20 since my hair was "very long". Its ludicrous enough that they charge extra for long hair since they only re-touched the roots of my hair so they didn't have to use any more product than normal. I refused to pay the extra arbitrary amount. The said next time they would have to charge me £20 but there will definitely NOT be a next time!!
