I decided to try somewhere new and as the reviews for Chic Touch were so complimentary I thought I couldn't go wrong. I have a job interview tomorrow so I decided to get my very simple hairstyle tidied up. Sadly, my haircut was (is) absolutely terrible. I showed my hairdresser (who was indeed a lovely woman) a photo of my hair the last time I got it cut. i asked to have it the same as the photo, basically to give it a trim, redo my fringe and take some weight out of it. Firstly my hair has no weight cut out of it so it lies completely flat against my head. Secondly she cut it to just under my chin, when I said twice that I wanted it shoulder length (which she verbally confirmed). Thirdly, this thick, short bob would be almost presentable had she cut it evenly, but no. There are loads of long strands that she missed out that even someone over skype pointed out to me. Finally, she forgot to do my fringe and when I pointed it out at the end she did a rushed job and only did half of it. I was nearly in tears leaving the salon and put it in a ponytail straight away. I fixed the fringe myself but there's nothing I can do about the rest. It's a shame because she was a lovely woman but obviously has no talent for hairdressing. Can't believe I paid to have my hair ruined.

I wasn't necessarily going to review this place because I would overall describe the spray tan as ok, applied by someone who knew what they were doing and generally satisfactory. However, a week on from the tan I thought I would review because I feel the quality of the product used (LA tan) wasn't the best and after 4-5 days was a bit crackly (despite moisturiser) and is now proving difficult to remove! Overall a good salon, with a good beauty therapist, just I would potentially recommend using a different type of tan!

This was probably the best haircut I have had in London. Chic touch knew exactly what to do with my (difficult) hair and gave valuable advice on styling and care; very much satisfied with the result. The atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed, this is a exactly what I have been looking fore: a place where I would like to return time and time again.
