Beware: The price you pay on here is only the start - when you arrive they'll probably add on £10 for longer hair, £20 for toner, £20 for a blow dry...
I've just had my second appointment here and it ended in tears, literally!!
The first appointment for highlights took nearly 4hrs but they did a good job at blending my roots so I went back this afternoon and saw someone else. BIG mistake.
For some reason, the stylist thought it was acceptable to do someone else's highlights at the same time as mine, meaning that when it was time to so my toner, this was outsourced to a colleague to mix and apply. I was then forgotten about for ages until the Stylist had finished the other girls foils, by which time the toner didn't just remove gold tones, it turned my (previously pale golden blonde) hair grey/white!!!!
Whilst they did attempt to fix my hair colour, only so much could be done without destroying my hair further.
At which point I was in tears in the salon chair (I have a very important holiday next week) and was patronisingly told that "its only hair, not worth getting so upset over. Just wash it every day and it'll eventually change colour." Seriously?!
The final straw was the £2 debit card fee they attempted to charge me, or I was expected to cross a busy road in the rain (!) to withdraw cash from an atm.
All in all a horrendous experience that left me upset and dreading showing anyone my hair.
First time visiting for a wash and cut. Very clean and attraxtive venue and attentive staff, but the stylist didn't show much knowledge or experience cutting short hair, which didn't make me feel very comfortable with the situation or confident in my choice of salon. Good value for money but the salon is probably better at coloring and blow-dries for long hair by the looks of it.
I believe my hairdresser's name was Christina. She took great care and interest in doing my head of foils - was a great result after the blow dry! Would highly recommend :)
