Very basic service. I walked in and the lady got right to it, she sat down behind the table and waited while I took off my coat, scarf and bag. The colour of varnishes were limited and the lady who was working on me was way too rough and didn’t speak good English. When I asked her to ease up she didn’t seem to understand and eventually one of my nails bled. Not exactly the relaxing experience I’d have hoped for.
Lovely staff and would definitely recommend
I have had facial which left my skin feeling rather nice because of the quality of a products use what I didn't like at all was the service. Firstly I have been TOLD constantly that I have to buy products before leaving so I can improve my skin, it was rather annoying and disturbing, also my treatment included all sort as well as mask paying total £45 - while laying there therapist said she needed to mix different mask and also because I had few black heads more than "usual" she said there is extra charge of £20 ( that is so high I could buy whole tube of mask!!!!) not even knowing what she really mixed in. The treatment was 1 hour of which 15 min I was laying just with steamer towards my face and last 20 min I had mask on where therapist left me alone. I had so many treatments in my life and this is only third time where most of my "treatment time" I was just laying alone with product on me. Most salons offer head, feet or hand massage while mask is put on. The place has no emergency exit signs and being in basement with all the electric machines and wax I am amazed it passed health and safety inspection. Also of course I didn't get receipt for my extra £20 as it didn't even go in the till... it was certainly an experience, not a one I would be rushing back about Ever. Such a shame as I like the products and the beautician seem really knowledgeable but all she focused on was SALE and do as little work as possible during my treatment time.
Really unhappy with my experience which was very disappointing because I had my hair done here and loved it. This time i had a Hollywood wax. At the end of my wax I noticed she had been double dipping the wooden spatula in to the wax. I felt sick. How many times has that happened! The lady doing my wax made me feel very uncomfortable and found her rude. Once I got home I noticed the actual treatment left me bruised and bleeding! Do not recommend this place at all.
Great friendly service in a nice local area. The salon is nicely decorated and the staff were friendly and listened to what I wanted. The blow dry was great and lasted through the evening. The mani and pedi were also very good too; I only gave the pedigree 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to put my feet in a washing up type bowl to soak instead of a proper pedicure basin used in other salons. However, this didn't detract too much from a good experience. Great value for money and would return again.
