Had a fantastic dry cut by Emre- he was very through, listened to what I actually wanted and went above and beyond during my hair cut. Made a huge difference to my face. Love my hair. Very very happy. Will be returning. Also turned up 30 mins early and they got me in straight away
Quick and lovely staff
*DISCLAIMER: DONT GO HERE!!!!!!!!* I found this place via Treatwell.co.uk, and it had 4.2/5 stars so I thought it would be promising. I had booked myself an appointment for keratin treatment, as I've gotten many times before from other places. My usual spot was booked, and I had just gotten a haircut the day prior, and wanted to get it done ASAP. I had an appointment at 4:15pm... I got there at 4:17pm and was sat near the hair washing station. I had work emails to do so I waited there, and didn't realise till 20 minutes went by that no one had came up to help me? I asked what happened, and they said because I was late, they took a walk in!!!! and then, because I was angry, the pawned that walk in off to someone else to finish cutting her hair... poor girl. The man who worked on me was very very nice and sweet but had awful English. the process takes a long time, so I was on my phone still doing work emails. All of a sudden I hear "snip snip"... I look behind me and here this man is, smiling away unsolicitedly CUTTING MY HAIR !!!! I told him to stop but he kept trying to convince me I needed it. he finally let it go. Then, when he blew dry and straightened my hair, he burned me BADLY on my scalp to the point that 2 days later, it still is hurting me. Not only did he burn me, but then, with his cigarette breath... Blew on me to cool down the burn!! That is so Nasty man!! Then, at the end, even though I have short hair, they made me pay 20 pounds extra for thick hair. I was so upset and annoyed I just payed it and left.

I visited Sheer Bliss in Dalston after booking a trim and blow dry online. Started fine, my hair was washed then I was asked how I wanted my hair styled, and I opted for a volume blow dry. The stylist then started drying my hair. I was confused as usually my hair is cut before being styled, so I asked him if it would be him cutting my hair. I made a motion with my hands too as was not convinced of his English speaking ability. He smiled and said no and carried on blow drying. After he had finished I asked again about the haircut and he looked confused. I then spoke to a woman there and she said oh sorry he doesn’t speak much English, can we give you a free haircut next time. I said no as I had come specifically for a cut which I had booked and paid for online. The stylist then gave me a dry cut which kind of undid all the styling he had done. He was very nice as were other staff but can I suggest that staff are able to speak English and check with customers what they have come in for if the salon want to provide services to English speaking customers.
