Had a lovely lady called Ellie do my threading. She was great and gave me exactly what I wanted. Not the greatest environment though as the receptionists can appear quite cold and dismissive.
You get what you pay for- very average, having said that if I only knew to book in advance I'd go with Marta, she was doing someone else's nails next to me and she was as precise as I'd expect from my beautician- but in a place like this it's either hit or miss, you need to know who to book. My manicure was blobby and thick and looked fake, exactly what I hate with Shellac when it isn't done v well. Shellac is for professional use- for me professional means precise (round line) paint boarder at the cuticle and evenly distributed paint throughout the nail. Basics right? My beautician Anna must've been training on stationary glue. In a week or so I'll have to take it off as it's already quite far from the cuticule, considering the growth they will look like claws in 10days. I expect from a well done Shellac to last up to 20days, which I had done before in a place in West Kensington (just opposite the station). I just happened to be East and made the mistake of going blindfolded into the hands of a 'messy by nature' practicioner who needs to go back to her drawing board.
