I will go back
The salon was bright and welcoming. The therapist who did my pedicure was lovely, and greeted me by name. This was my first time here, but I will definitely try some of their other services.
I have been going here for 3 years for a monthly wax and no matter which therapist I get, they are always nice, professional, fast and relatively pain-free. Unfortunately the therapist this time, who I hadn't seen before, used predominantly strip wax when I paid for lycon hot wax, made it an unnecessarily painful experience as she kept pulling at the parts of lycon hot wax she did use, as she seemed unable to pull it off, which was painful to the point of tears, missed obvious sections of hair and left me with clumps of wax in the landing strip. I gave this feedback to the receptionist when I went downstairs, clearly upset and disappointed with the service I'd recieved and was just met with surprise and nothing further. A really poor show of customer service all round.
Really good shellac manicure. One nail chipped after 4 days but I called up and they re-did that nail for me free of charge.
I am absolutely shocked by the level of service I received at Sheer Bliss Beauty. I had to wait 25 minutes for my lady to arrive (she was apparently on her lunch break). I was really close to walking out. The manicure did not last 2 weeks. The lady clearly had no idea what she was doing - she had to ask her colleague what to do and which polish to use. She also filed my nails after applying the Shellac - no wonder they didn't last long. Ambiance was terrible - I had to listen to my lady gossip with another member of staff. I will be writing a formal complaint to Treatwell, it was so bad.
