I was really pleased with the actual beauty treatments I received - Agneta was great; friendly and professional. That being said, soon after I got home I received a phone call from the reception staff, aggressively demanding to know whether I was still in the salon. The receptionist told me that I had not checked out of the salon, and that actually I had under-paid for my treatments, as the beautician had used a different kind of wax to the one I had paid for. I was given a slip of paper by the beautician, which apparently I should’ve handed in upon leaving. This is the third time I’ve been to the salon, and I’ve never before handed in the slip of paper. In fact, previously I had asked what the slip was, and whether it was a receipt, and been told it was. How on Earth I was meant to know I had to check out at reception with the paper is anyone’s guess. I repeatedly asked the receptionist how I would know without anyone telling me, but she repeatedly shouted at me down the phone, saying I owed them money. As far as I am concerned, it is not the client’s responsibility to ensure they get the right treatment - I had no idea she had used a different type of wax (I’ve always had the same type whenever I’ve been there, but this is the first time I’ve been yelled at). The woman kept shouting so I hung up the phone. I will not return, as I couldn’t believe how rude they were. A shame, as the beautician was really good. Before I started going to this salon my housemate warned me against it as she said the staff were so rude. Turns out to be true.
I needed the treatment one day before I travelled overseas but was told after I booked that they needed a 24 patch test. They really should state this on the booking site as other clinics do.
