The bright strip lights directly above you in the treatment room ruined any kind of ambience. After undressing and lying on the treatment table I was told that the Brazilian wax did not include the labia or bottom area and I would have to pay an extra fee for that to be included (despite the fact that their website clearly states that these areas are included in the treatment). I found this quite misleading, really the treatment should've been advertised as a bikini not a Brazilian. The wax itself was okay even though the lady seemed to get quite irritated with me when I twitched because of the pain. Some stray hairs were left because there was no tweezing and I wasn't asked about how I wanted the strip. I left the salon feeling rather annoyed. I booked into a different salon for the following day for the wax to be corrected and the beautician there informed me that some of my skin had been ripped off! Completely baffled by the fact the lady didn't think to tell me about this. Definitely will not be returning or recommending this salon to anyone in the future.
The staff member who did my wax was friendly but this was not the most gentle wax to say the least. The beautician also kept putting the used wax applicator back in the wax pot (not very hygienic) and at the end a big tub of cream was plonked in front of me for me to apply to myself - with the thought of how many other sticky hands had used it before me. Overall I thought the standards could be improved.
