I’ve been coming to Selfish for manicures for over a year but always the Shoreditch brand. This time was the first time I booked to Spitafields as they had a more convenient slot and unfortunately there’s no vibe or buzz in this shop. The person at reception was not interested in attending customers. The whole time watching something on his phone with headphones in. The girls didn’t speak much and there wasn’t much music playing so it was a quiet and energy lacking environment. However, the therapist I had did a really good job as today it’s over 2 weeks from my manicure and it still hasn’t chipped at all despite having been on holiday in Africa.
The quality of the job is clearly good. If you don’t care about the ambience totally go here. If you do, go to the shoreditch highstreet branch.
