As always, Scott took the time to make my paper-thin hair look shiny and full. I am never disappointed with a visit to Scott’s! One of the best things about Scott is that he doesn’t feel the need to fill every second with chatter- he definitely has a sense of when people want to talk (about pets, families, stuff in the news, hair etc) and when it’s nice just to have some down time and relax! The silence isn’t at all uncomfortable- the day of my appointment, I just had a lot on my mind and simply wanted to ponder it through. I didn’t tell him that, he just noticed that I was somewhat distracted and he just worked away quietly. The music in the salon deserves a mention, though, it’s not weird nature ‘soothing’ music but neither is it in-your-face chart songs being blasted at you. It’s a pleasant blend of familiarity with an hint of an eclectic mix. When I leave, there’s usually at least one song I think, ‘I need to find that and add it to ‘My Favourites’ playlist!
