I love getting my nails done at Elly's-this is at least my fourth visit since the summer! The ladies working here are friendly and they clearly have many regular clients. The salon offers a range of hair and nail treatments. The gel manicure is great as it lasts at least 2 weeks and they have a good range of colours. Good value too!

I went here for gel nails and a manicure recently. I'm not from the UK and this is my first mani here but I can't say I was impressed. The staff were friendly but that's all that is positive. The place seemed unclean and so did the instruments she used for my mani - particularly unsettling when she drew blood around my nails! My hands weren't soaked at all and nothing was put on them to soften the cuticles so it was quite uncomfortable. She used a very coarse nail file to roughen the surface of my nails so I hate to think what state they'll be in when I have the gel taken off. The gel colour is patchy, bubbled and not shiny. It's safe to say I definitely won't be returning to this place, and I wouldn't recommend it.
