The venue is very nice, new and clean. Easy to find in the city centre.
The room was big and very nice.
The massage was nice!
The only thing I would improve is the staff service: the lady was very very nice but a bit cold and without any interaction. She did a few quick questions before to start the massage, without even introduce herself or say her name; and after the massage she just disappeared. She left without asking how the massage was, or considering the area of tightness or advising other treatments or massages, or even saying goodbye.
She just disappeared. This was a bit impersonal and cold.
A part for this I really enjoyed the massage.
I was visiting Leeds and needed a last minute appointment and luckily whilst travelling down on the train I found Millie's Beauty via the Treatwell website. I was a little confused at first because the salon is above/part of a health food shop. I have to admit I was a little sceptical. However, all the beauticians were very professional, it was very clean and they used quality brands eg Dermologica, CND etc and it was super quick, in and out in 15 minutes.
If I were to be critical, the ambience was missing. It was very bright, a little too clinical and it was very rushed. This suited me, nipping in for a leg wax at lunchtime, but if I was to go for an hours massage I might have felt different. Saying that, I would definitely go back and find out.
I had not heard of Treatwell (it has not reached the Scottish Borders), so was reluctant to book and pay via the internet. However I wish I had because the appointment was booked correctly with the salon and the price quoted online was different to the price charged at the venue. Having said that it was still very cheap, even at full price!
